У даній науковій статті описано особливості освоєння техніки бічного удару рукою за методикою бойового хортингу, розкрито методика вивчення та вдосконалення бічних ударів рукою спортсменами бойового хортингу на настінній подушці, підвісному важкому мішку, лапах і спортивних подушках, методику постановки бічного удару рукою в процесі тренувальної діяльності з бойового хортингу, надано методичні рекомендації щодо виконання та постановки бічних ударів руками для тренування спортсменів бойового хортингу, вивчення техніки нанесення прямих ударів руками у змагальній сутичці бойового хортингу, організації навчально-виховного процесу з бойового хортингу та формування технічних здібностей учнів спортивних секцій у закладах освіти, визначення змістовних характеристик складових технічної підготовленості учнів секції бойового хортингу в закладах освіти. Зазначено, що бічні удари широко використовуються на всіх трьох дистанціях: дальній, середній і ближній (впритул), вони наносяться зігнутою рукою, закріпленою в ліктьовому суглобі. Кут згину руки в ліктьовому суглобі, утворений плечем і передпліччям, визначає величину дистанції, на якій проводиться бічний удар. Малий кут згинання в ліктьовому суглобі дає можливість для застосування бічного удару на дальній дистанції. Великий кут згинання – для застосування на ближній дистанції. Середній, між малим і великим, кут згинання – для застосування на середній дистанції. Якщо звертатися до перенесення ваги тіла з ноги на ногу та взаємодії всіх частин тіла при виконанні бічного удару на різних дистанціях, то при бічному ударі перенесення ваги тіла, поворот тулуба і рух ударної руки починаються та закінчуються одночасно, зливаючись в один цілісний швидкий рух, так само, як і при виконанні прямого удару. Бічний удар можна наносити як вертикальним, так і горизонтальним кулаком, і навіть перевернутим кулаком, а на дуже близькій клінчевій дистанції його можна нанести захопивши голову суперника іншою рукою, що значно підвищує його ефективність. Застосування бічних ударів у сукупності з іншими різновидами ударної техніки дозволяє розвивати атаки і швидко бити з будь-якого положення та під будь-яким кутом. У сутичці бойового хортингу, коли рука в малій рукавиці, бічні удари по тулубу особливо руйнівні й ефективні, вони проникають глибше в м'які частини тіла та вражають сильніше ребра і міжреберні м'язи. Методика постановки ударів збоку різноманітна і може бути підібрана індивідуально, але основні принципи визначені та рекомендуються для застосування.

It is noted that side impacts are widely used at all three distances: far, middle and near (close), they are applied with a bent arm fixed in the elbow joint. The angle of flexion of the arm at the elbow, formed by the shoulder and forearm, determines the value of the distance at which the side impact. The small angle of flexion in the elbow joint allows for the application of lateral impact at a long distance. Large bending angle - for short-distance use. Medium, between small and large, bending angle - for use at medium distances. If we turn to the transfer of body weight from foot to foot and the interaction of all parts of the body when performing a side impact at different distances, then with a side impact body weight transfer, torso rotation and impact arm movement begin and end simultaneously, merging into one integral rapid movement, so the same as when performing a direct hit. A side kick can be inflicted with both a vertical and a horizontal fist, as well as an inverted fist, and at a very close clinching distance it can be inflicted by grabbing the opponent's head with the other hand, which greatly increases its effectiveness. The use of side strikes in combination with other types of percussion techniques allows you to develop attacks and quickly strike from any position and at any angle. In combat horting, when the hand is in a small glove, side blows to the torso are particularly destructive and effective, they penetrate deeper into the soft parts of the body and hit the ribs and intercostal muscles harder. The technique of setting side strikes is diverse and can be selected individually, but the basic principles are defined and recommended for use.
